Bollywood condemns Pahalgam terrorist attack

A wave of condemnation has swept across the Bollywood community following a brutal terrorist assault in Pahalgam. Prominent actors including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Nani, NTR Jr., Allu Arjun, and Akshay Kumar have taken to social media to express their grief, outrage, and solidarity with the victims.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra, known for portraying Captain Vikram Batra in Shershaah, shared a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter): “The attack on innocent lives in Pahalgam is an act of pure cowardice. I stand in full support of our armed forces and believe justice will prevail. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. Jai Hind!”

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who appeared in LOC Kargil, also mourned the tragedy through an Instagram post, offering her condolences and support to the bereaved families.

Akshay Kumar, whose latest release Kesari Chapter 2 is currently in cinemas, posted on X: “Deeply shocked by the barbaric attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Taking innocent lives like this is nothing short of monstrous. My prayers go out to the victims’ families.”

Southern star NTR Jr. also voiced his sorrow, tweeting: “My heart breaks for those affected by the #Pahalgam attack. Thinking of the families who lost loved ones. Hoping for peace and justice.”

Veteran actor Anupam Kher, known for The Kashmir Files, did not hold back his emotions. Speaking about the targeted killings, he wrote, “The massacre of Hindus in Pahalgam today—27 lives lost in such a brutal manner. I am saddened, but more than that, I am seething with anger. The fury I feel knows no bounds.”
