Amberdeep Singh announces new film Arjantina

Renowned Punjabi filmmaker, writer, and actor Amberdeep Singh is back with a new film titled Arjantina, starring his son Laksh Duleh. This announcement comes after both father and son faced harsh criticism for Laksh’s debut film Mithde.

Arjantina is directed by Sukh Sanghera and written by Amberdeep himself. Sharing the film’s poster on Instagram, Amberdeep captioned it with, “Love kills – Valentine 2026,” hinting at a romantic release set for Valentine’s Day 2026.

Laksh Duleh, who was heavily trolled during his debut, faced not just critiques of his acting, but also personal attacks that took an emotional toll on him and his father. Despite the backlash, Amberdeep—known for delivering some of Punjabi cinema’s most beloved stories—has chosen to rise above the negativity.

With Arjantina, the duo is ready to turn the page and deliver another heartfelt narrative to audiences.
