The 79th edition of the BAFTA Awards lit up London’s Royal Festival Hall on February 22 with elegance and cinematic splendour.

The evening drew an array of global talent, with Indian stars Alia Bhatt, Farhan Akhtar, and Shibani Dandekar adding their presence to the prestigious celebration.

Alia Bhatt, attending as one of the presenters, captivated onlookers in a specially designed silver sequinned Gucci gown featuring a high neckline and a sculpted silhouette that shimmered beneath the red carpet lights. She paired the ensemble with a soft white fur stole and kept her accessories subtle, allowing the outfit to take centre stage, while her sleek hairstyle and neutral-toned makeup completed the refined look.

The ceremony also featured a distinguished line-up of presenters including Cillian Murphy, Bryan Cranston, Kate Hudson, Alicia Vikander, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Karen Gillan, Michael B. Jordan, Riz Ahmed, and Stormzy.
