Sixteen-year-old actor Owen Cooper has made history by winning a Golden Globe for his role in the Netflix series Adolescence. He won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California. With this win, Owen became the youngest actor ever to win a Golden Globe in this category.

Owen has also achieved something very special. He is the youngest male actor to win a Golden Globe, an Emmy Award, and a Critics’ Choice Award one after the other. Earlier this month, he won the Critics’ Choice Award for Adolescence. Last year, he also became the youngest male actor to win an acting award at the Emmy Awards.

The show became very popular and was watched more than 141 million times in its first three months, making it one of Netflix’s most-watched series.
