Medha Shankar from 12th Fail Fame is indeed one of the most talked about actors in Bollywood at the current time. The massive success of the film and her strong character opposite Vikrant Massey has moved thousands of fans, leading to an immense flooding of appreciation for the actress.

While she undoubtedly has gained a great fan following, not everyone knows that Medha is a trained classical singer as well. Yes, this fact comes as a surprise for many as a big part of the audience has known Medha for her incredible performances in projects like 12th Fail and Shaadisthan, keeping her musical personality a bit unexplored.

Moreover, Medha has recently talked about the same in our exclusive interview with our host Faridoon Shahryar. On being asked how training in classical music has helped in her acting, the actress had a brilliant explanation for it.

Medha started by opening up about how music is a very integral part of her life in general by saying, that even when things go haywire in her life and she is thinking too much or she is just very stressed out, she does resort to singing. She said, “It brings a sense of calm, it centres me.”

Talking about it more, Medha said, “In acting, every character I play always has a playlist that I listen to. Shraddha’s character had a playlist that is what in my opinion what Shraddha would listen to, which includes songs that I feel Shraddha would like and sort of love songs that would relate to Shraddha and Manoj’s love story as per me.”

Medha also emphasised that music is rhythm and she feels every human has a rhythm of their own and that’s how music helps her to understand the character better.

In the interview, Medha also talked about her reaction to the success of 12th Fail, her character Shraddha Joshi, her fascination with Shah Rukh Khan and Dharma movies and a lot more.
