Gurnam Bhullar’s beefed up look
Punjabi singer-actor recently shared his new, beefed up look with his fans on his social media handle.
Known for his songs like Diamond, Jhanjhran and many more, Gurnam is actually preparing for his role in the upcoming film Lekh for which he had to put on weight. Lekh will be directed by Jagdeep Sidhu.
In one of his posts, Gurnam shared, “New day new journey start #Lekh @jagdeepsidhu3 captan pf the ship”. Earlier also he shared a post where wrote target achieved @jagdeepsidhu3
Jageep and Gurnam are back with Lekh, the duo has worked together in Surkhi Bindi and Guddiyan Patole.

What’s in a name for Karan R Guliani
Famous Punjabi film director Karan R Guliani of Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh and Sarvann has changed his name to Paras. Sharing the news on his social media handle, he wrote, “As guided & suggested by my family Guru ji I am changing my name to Paras …I shall be known and call by this name now onwards.”
Paras is known for directing International fame Priyanka Chopra's production venture Sarvann starring Amrinder Gill, Ranjit Bawa, Simi Chahal, Amberdeep Singh under her home banner Purple Pebble Pictures. Apart from this, Karan also directed the romantic comedy Chandigarh Amritsar Ch

Sanjay Dutt receives COVID-19 vaccine
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt shared that he has received the first dose of Coronavirus vaccine at a vaccination centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to thank the medical staff, who gave him the vaccine. Alongside the tweet, Dutt posted a photo of himself receiving the dose. He can be seen smiling at the camera. Rabb Da Radio 2 bags the title of Best Punjabi Feature Film
The 67th National Film Awards for the year 2019 honored the works of filmmakers, directors, singers, and people involved in the movie-making process.
In the category of Best Feature Film Punjabi, the Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal starrer Rabb Da Radio 2 won the award.
Released in 2019, the movie is the sequel to the 2017 ‘Rabb Da Radio’. The film revolves around emotions and relationships. It teaches a life lesson that no materialistic pleasure can ever be over and above the family bonds.

Punjabi actress Simranpreet Kaur dies
Punjabi actress Simranpreet Kaur passed away on 18 March 2021 leaving her friends and family in grief. Fondly known as Simran among her friends, she was well-known in Punjabi theatre as well.
The reason for her death is said to be health complications due to diabetes and kidney failure. Her last rites were performed in Patiala.
Besides doing television series and theatre, Simranpreet Kaur has also been part of Punjabi movies like Singh Vs Kaur.

Rani Mukerji to feature in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway
On her birthday, March 21, Bollywood actor Rani Mukerji gave her fans a treat. The actress is set to feature in the film Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. According to reports, the film will be based on the controversial 2011 true story of an Indian couple whose children were taken away from them by Norwegian welfare services. The film is currently in pre-production stage. Ashima Chibber has scripted the movie and will also direct it.

Kartik Aaryan tests positive for Covid-19
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan on Monday said he has tested positive for COVID-19 and asked his fans to pray for him.
The actor, on Saturday, walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week. He was joined by his upcoming ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ co-star Kiara Advani.
Aaryan took to Twitter and shared a picture of a first aid medical sign, writing, “I am positive. Pray for me”.
The actor was also shooting for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ with Advani and Tabu, who joined the crew on March 15.
