Maharashtra Police on Tuesday registered an FIR against actor Payal Rohatgi in Pune for allegedly sharing objectionable video against Mahatma Gandhi, and former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. In 2019, the actor was booked by Bundi Police under the IT Act for allegedly posting objectionable content against Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and other members of the Gandhi family on social media.

Veteran actor Saira Banu was recently admitted to Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. As per a family friend, Banu had been hospitalised three days ago due to issues with her blood pressure levels. The 77-year-old star has been admitted to the same hospital where her late husband and legendary actor Dilip Kumar had been admitted.

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan Kunder has tested positive for COVID-19, despite being fully vaccinated. On Wednesday, the 'Main Hoon Na' director took to her Instagram Story and revealed that she has contracted the virus somehow, even though she was working with "mostly double vaxxed people." Before contracting the deadly infection, Farah had been shooting for the popular 'Zee Comedy Show'. It is still unknown whether her family members have tested positive or not.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes in connection with a money laundering case in the national capital on Monday. Jacqueline is being questioned by the ED for the last five hours. "She is facing allegations of money laundering and that is why is she is being questioned as a witness in the ongoing case." ED official said. The ED had earlier summoned her to physically join the probe. Further information on the matter is awaited.

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday arrested actor Armann Kohli in connection with the drugs case. The actor will be presented in front of the city court on Sunday, informed NCB. NCB Mumbai raided the residence of Armaan in suburban Andheri on Saturday evening and allegedly recovered a small quantity of Cocaine drug from his end, after which he was taken for further interrogation. At the time of his arrest, he was found in an inebriated condition, informed NCB officials.
