Punjabi film director Jagdeep Sidhu is all set to make his acting debut with an upcoming film Laung Laachi 2. Laung Laachi, released in 2018, starred Amberdeep Singh, Ammy Virk and Neeru Bajwa in the lead roles. Now, this announcement by Jagdeep has brought the film back in focus!

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, on Friday, dropped a hint that the release date of the highly anticipated film will be unveiled soon. Alongside the emotional note, Ayan shared a BTS picture of the film's leading hero Ranbir Kapoor. In the image, Ranbir can be seen sporting a rugged look while he seems to have a superpower in his hand. One can also see a burning flame in the background. Sony Pictures released the first look teaser and title of the upcoming animated superhero film 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'. The upcoming movie is the sequel to 2018's Oscar-winning animated superhero film 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' and continues the story of the Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) version of Spider-Man. As per Deadline, the title 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse' (Part One), unveiled at the Brazil Comic-Con , implies the film will serve as the first installation of a two-part sequel. The first part is scheduled to release in theatres on October 7, 2022.

Punjabi singer Babbu Mann recently announced his upcoming film titled, ‘Hawayein 2’. Babbu Mann announced the sequel to the 2003 film, in a press interaction. The singer said that he is still in the writing phase of the film. He jokingly told the a journalist present interaction that he wanted the artist to mess with the government once again? He also added that he got the idea of the sequel to the 2003-film, during the farmers’ protest. Content streaming platform Netflix said it is slashing its monthly subscription rates by up to 60 per cent in India, as it looks to woo viewers amid growing competition in the OTT space in the country. Under the new rates that roll out from Tuesday, Netflix's Mobile will now be available at Rs 149 a month (from Rs 199 earlier), while the Basic plan will be priced at Rs 199 a month, instead of Rs 499. The Standard plan will be charged at Rs 499 per month, while Premium will be available at Rs 649 a month.

A documentary about rapper-songwriter Travis Scott's deadly Astroworld concert in Houston has been taken down by Hulu over "confusion" whether the show was created by the streaming platform. Hulu spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter, "This was an investigative local news special from ABC13/KTRK-TV in Houston that originally aired on November 20th. This was not a Hulu documentary and has since been removed to avoid confusion."
