Ahead of the release of her much-awaited film 'Thalaivii', actor Kangana Ranaut met several politicians on Thursday for a special screening of the film for prominent ministers in Delhi.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kangana shared a picture in which she can be seen posing with Union Minister Smriti Irani.

Akshay Kumar's mother passes away
Superstar Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday, two days after she was admitted to the intensive care unit of a Mumbai Hospital.
Akshay took to his Twitter handle, to announce the news of his mother's demise.

Anticipatory bail plea of Gurdas Maan rejected
Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan on Tuesday was denied anticipatory bail in the case of objectionable remarks made during a religious fair at Dera Baba Murad Shah in Nakodar last month. Preity Zinta's co-owned 'Punjab Kings' to get new IPL anthem
Ahead of the resumption of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, actor Preity Zinta shared that her team Punjab Kings will get a new anthem.
The anthem has been composed by Sajid Khan and sung by Mika Singh.
For the unversed, the previous anthem 'Dhoom Punjabi' of Punjab Kings was crooned by Mika's elder brother Daler Mehndi. IPL 2021 is scheduled to return with its Phase 2 in the UAE, starting September 19.

Man hit by actor Rajat Bedi's car in Mumbai in critical condition
A resident of D N Nagar in Mumbai was hit by actor Rajat Bedi's car while returning from work on Monday and is in critical condition.
Police have registered a case against Rajat Bedi under sections 279 and 338 of IPC and called the accused today for investigation.
The accident took place near a temple in West Andheri, Mumbai.
Further investigation is underway.
