In an unexpected move that has left cinema exhibitors disappointed, acclaimed producer Dinesh Vijan has decided to forgo a theatrical release for his upcoming film Bhool Chuk Maaf, opting instead for a direct-to-digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
Scheduled May 9 cinema release of Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, has been officially cancelled. The film will now release globally on Prime Video on May 16.

Punjabi lyricist Gursewak Singh Brar dies in an accident
Punjabi lyricist Gursewak Singh Brar known for his songs Jatt Saab, Dawood tragically lost his life in a road accident near Kotakpura, Punjab, on Sunday evening. He was 47.
The accident occurred around 8:45 p.m. while Gursewak was returning to his hometown, Muktsar. His motorcycle reportedly collided with a truck, resulting in his untimely death on the spot. Authorities have launched an investigation based on information provided by his family.
