Filmmaker Kabir Khan’s much-awaited cricket drama “83”, has been declared tax free in Delhi. Presented by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films, “83” will arrive in cinema halls on December 24 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment, took to Twitter and thanked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for the decision. “#83 declared tax free in Delhi. Bollywood actor Salman Khan officially announced Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 at the pre-release event of upcoming film RRR in Mumbai. The sequel of the film will be written by SS Rajamouli’s father, K. V. The Enforcement Directorate questioned actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for over five hours in connection with the 2016 'Panama Papers' global tax leaks case. Sony Pictures released the first look teaser and title of the upcoming animated superhero film 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'. The upcoming movie is the sequel to 2018's Oscar-winning animated superhero film 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' and continues the story of the Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) version of Spider-Man. As per Deadline, the title 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse' (Part One), unveiled at the Brazil Comic-Con , implies the film will serve as the first installation of a two-part sequel. The first part is scheduled to release in theatres on October 7, 2022.

Content streaming platform Netflix said it is slashing its monthly subscription rates by up to 60 per cent in India, as it looks to woo viewers amid growing competition in the OTT space in the country. Under the new rates that roll out from Tuesday, Netflix's Mobile will now be available at Rs 149 a month (from Rs 199 earlier), while the Basic plan will be priced at Rs 199 a month, instead of Rs 499. The Standard plan will be charged at Rs 499 per month, while Premium will be available at Rs 649 a month.

A documentary about rapper-songwriter Travis Scott's deadly Astroworld concert in Houston has been taken down by Hulu over "confusion" whether the show was created by the streaming platform. Hulu spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter, "This was an investigative local news special from ABC13/KTRK-TV in Houston that originally aired on November 20th. This was not a Hulu documentary and has since been removed to avoid confusion."
