South star Dhanush on Monday announced separation from his filmmaker wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth after 18 years of marriage. Popular comic and TV show host Kapil Sharma's life story is set to be told on the big screen with an upcoming biographical drama movie, a producer announced on Friday. Titled 'Funkaar', the film will be helmed by 'Fukrey' fame director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Mahaveer Jain will produce the movie under the banner Lyca Productions. kapil, who hails from Amritsar, rose to fame after winning the comedy reality television show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' in 2007.

Long-running medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" has secured an early renewal for its 19th season after series lead Ellen Pompeo signed a new deal with the makers. Pompeo joins fellow original stars Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr in coming back for season 19 of the ABC show, created and executive produced by Shonda Rhimes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the latter duo inked multiple-year pacts in May 2021 when television's longest-running primetime medical drama was picked up for its 18th season.
