'Gone Girl' actor Lisa Banes passes away after hit-and-run scooter accident
American actor Lisa Banes has passed away at the age of 65 after suffering injuries from a hit-and-run accident caused by an electric scooter who fled the scene out in New York City.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Lisa had died on Monday after more than a week in the hospital in critical condition.
The tragic accident took place on late Friday evening on the Upper West Side near the Lincoln Center- where she was reportedly on her way to meet up with her wife Kathryn Kranhold and some friends for dinner. She was reportedly passing through a cross-walk when the two-wheeler hit her.

Taapsee jets off to vacation with sister in Russia
Ahead of the release of her film 'Haseen Dillruba', actor Taapsee Pannu has headed to Moscow, Russia with her younger sister Shagun Pannu.
Taking to Instagram, Taapsee has posted several pictures from her vacation with Shagun.
"Time to surround myself with colours, sit on street side, looking at the sky, take a deep breath and say 'all is well'...also, hello Moscow. Let's feel close to 'normal' again," she wrote along with a picture of her sitting against the backdrop of Moscow's beautiful buildings.

BJP MP from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan has written a letter to Union Minister Prakash Javadekar and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath demanding a law to curb vulgar content in Bhojpuri films.

Meghan Markle releases debut children's book 'The Bench'
Meghan Markle released her debut children's book 'The Bench' on Tuesday, and dedicated it to the two special guys in her life.
As per People magazine, 'The Bench', which was released on June 8, includes a dedication to Meghan's husband Prince Harry and their 2-year-old son, Archie.
"For the man and the boy who make my heart go pump-pump," it reads, written in Meghan's recognisable penmanship inspired by her previous work as a calligrapher.
