Trudeau repeats he knew nothing about the WE charity recommendation till May 8th

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is repeating that he knew nothing about the WE charity being recommended to manage a student jobs program until May 8th.

That's when Trudeau says public service officials revealed WE was their choice as the only organization capable of managing the almost billion-dollar fund.

The deal eventually fell through and Trudeau and then finance minister Bill Morneau are under investigation by the ethics commissioner.

Morneau resigned Monday, and today Trudeau says he wishes him all the best.
