Jakhar pointed out that the Chief Minister had openly admitted in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha to having access to sensitive intelligence information.
Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar has accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of engaging in political espionage and misusing the state’s intelligence network. In a letter to the Governor, Jakhar demanded a thorough investigation into the matter.
Jakhar pointed out that the Chief Minister had openly admitted in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha to having access to sensitive intelligence information. He further alleged that ADGP Intelligence RK Jaiswal was transferred for refusing to comply with political directives from the Chief Minister.
Highlighting Punjab’s status as a sensitive border state, Jakhar urged the Governor to initiate a high-level inquiry into the ADGP’s removal, stating that the issue goes beyond politics and poses a threat to national security.
