The Punjab-Haryana High Court has issued a notice to the Punjab and the Central Government on the petition filed by Daljit Kalsi, the companion of Amritpal Singh, lodged in Dibrugarh Jail, to the NSA.

There is also news that Daljit Kalsi may contest the by-election from Dera Baba Nanak, while Kulwant Singh Rauke is rumored to contest the by-election from Barnala.
