The Supreme Court said that it is not in favor of interfering with the orders of the High Court and the matter should be investigated.
The Supreme Court today rejected the challenge given by the accused gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to the orders of the Punjab-Haryana High Court.
He had given this challenge against the orders of the High Court to form a special investigation team and register an FIR in the case of an interview he gave to a TV channel from jail.
The Supreme Court said that it is not in favor of interfering with the orders of the High Court and the matter should be investigated.
It is to be noted that the special investigation team has submitted a report in a sealed envelope in the case of Lawrence's interview, which is now waiting to be opened.
