Jagjit Singh Dallewal Pays Obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Criticizes Government’s Indifference to Farmers

Speaking to the media, Dallewal criticized both the Centre and the Punjab government for their indifference to the issues faced by farmers.
Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who led the farmers' movement at the Khanauri border of Punjab-Haryana, paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib today and prayed for the successful completion of the Kisan Morcha.
Speaking to the media, Dallewal criticized both the Centre and the Punjab government for their indifference to the issues faced by farmers. He pointed out that while the state government once claimed to be pro-farmer, since the dismantling of the Kisan Morcha, the public’s anger toward the government has only grown. He warned that this sentiment would persist until the 2027 elections.
