Since the resumption of the war against Hamas last month, Israel has seized more than 50 percent of Gaza. The majority of the territory captured by the Israeli army is located near the Gaza border, where Palestinian homes, farmland, and infrastructure have been severely damaged, making it increasingly difficult for residents to live in the area.

Meanwhile, following a meeting in Washington on Monday, President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that new talks are underway focused on securing the release of more hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. Trump expressed hope for another ceasefire, adding that they will see what happens next.
