Renowned Punjabi artist Shubh has been selected as the Global Ambassador for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Digital Climate Library, a major milestone in his career. The announcement was made at the UN climate conference held in Baku, Azerbaijan, according to a press release.
As the newly appointed Global Ambassador, the Canada-based rapper and singer-songwriter will utilize his platform to engage and inspire audiences worldwide, spreading awareness about climate change and advocating for sustainable solutions.
At just 28- years- old, Shubh aims to empower young people to take action in the fight against climate change. Shubh first gained widespread recognition in 2021 with his breakout single "We Rollin’" and has since built a successful music career with chart-topping tracks such as "Cheques," "Baller," "No Love," "Be Mine," and "One Love."
Shubh joins a prestigious group of celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, David Beckham, Coldplay, BTS, Billie Eilish, Don Cheadle, Shailene Woodley, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, all of whom are actively involved in the UNFCCC’s climate change initiatives.
