Raftaar is the first Indian artist to accept cryptocurrency as payment/ Facebook

Rapper, music composer, reality show host Raftaar recently stated that as part of his performance charge he will accept cryptocurrency rather than cash. He is the first Indian artist to accomplish so. Raftaar stated that he has always admired blockchain technology and that being able to take payments using the same technology is a dream come true for him. He has already begun accepting cryptocurrency payments for his upcoming concert in July.

At the International arena, global musicians like 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, G-Eazy, Sia, Fall Out Boy, the Backstreet Boys, and Lana Del Rey are already taking bitcoin as payment for their performances rather than cash.
