Popular Indian actor and director Dhanush and his filmmaker wife Aishwarya Rajnikanth have officially filed for a divorce. For the unversed, the couple had already announced their separation in January 2022, and now the couple has filed for divorce under Section 13 B’ (Divorce by mutual consent) at the Chennai Family Court.
Dhanush and Aishwarya got married to each other in 2004, and after 18 years of togetherness, the couple announced separation through social media. And now, their divorce case will be soon heard and discussed.
The couple is parent to two sons Yatra and Linga, who they are expected to co-parent after the divorce. For now, neither Dhanush nor Aishwarya have officially released any statement about their divorce or further plans. However, their fans are disheartened as the couple enjoyed a wholesome fan following.
